The American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF), a professional, organization for chefs and cooks, was founded in 1929 in New York City by three chefs’ organizations: the Société Culinaire Philanthropique, the Vatel Club, and the Chefs de Cuisine Association of America. Since our inception, little has changed in our principal goals. We are an organization based on promoting the professional image of American chefs worldwide through education of culinarians at all levels.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) distributes more than 50 million pounds of food and grocery products each year from a 129,600 square-foot facility in northwest Atlanta. The product is accessed by 600 partner nonprofits that provide food assistance to families and individuals in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

Children of Restaurant Employees, or CORE, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization funded by donations from individuals, food and beverage operators, suppliers and distributors, and special events. CORE supports the children of food and beverage employees who are navigating life-altering circumstances or conditions.

Since inception in 2004, CORE has helped over 120 children from families across the industry and the country. The UGA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Kennesaw State University is part of a partnership program between Kennesaw State University, The University of Georgia and The U.S. Small Business Administration, working together to benefit small businesses in Georgia.
